About Neda Farahvash

I was born in Tehran, a city once lined with sycamore trees that shifted color with the seasons. Wandering through its vibrant chaos, I was deeply influenced by the richness of details—aged windows and doors, traditional Persian homes, the presence of water, and the thoughtful use of sunlight.
I was profoundly influenced by a strong woman in my life, designer, painter, and decorator Samira Sarraf, who taught me to recognize the potential of every space and to see beauty in every object.
I later studied Architecture, continuing my education in Florence, Italy, where I further deepened my understanding of form, structure, and spatial harmony. My studies in Product Design, combined with architecture, gave me a highly detail-oriented approach, one that balances craftsmanship with a holistic understanding of space.
After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, I began working in the interior design field, collaborating with architects and designers on a wide range of projects. In 2009, we founded Labyrinth Design Studio, and since then I have been involved in projects from conception to completion, working closely with architects and contractors.
My goal is to create intimate, personal spaces where clients truly feel at home—spaces that invite comfort, connection, and longevity. I design by creating and improvising rather than copying, drawing inspiration from context while carefully considering each client’s taste, lifestyle, and needs.
